Major General Engineer "Mokhtar Abdel Latif", Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, met with Counsellor "Kjersti Lindoe", Director of Development and Trade Cooperation Affairs at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway in Cairo.
This visit comes within the framework of implementing the directives of President "Abdel Fattah El-Sisi" to enhance cooperation and attract investments with major Norwegian companies in various
manufacturing fields.
Especially the areas of new and renewable energy
During the meeting, the vision of the Arab Organization for Industrialization was presented regarding the importance of investment, deepening and increasing local manufacturing rates, transferring and localizing technology, including training human cadres according to digital manufacturing mechanisms.
The discussions also included discussing the benefit from the advanced manufacturing capabilities of the Arab Organization for Industrialization and the distinguished expertise of the Norwegian industry in the field of renewable energy, the automotive industry, environmentally friendly means of transportation, electronics, digital transformation, software, communications, information technology, water treatment plants, smart meters, medical industries, furniture and various manufacturing fields.
In this regard, Major General Engineer "Mokhtar Abdel Latif" explained that the Arab Organization for Industrialization is looking forward to enhancing joint cooperation and increasing investment and partnership opportunities in new industrial fields, noting that it welcomes cooperation with Norwegian companies wishing to invest and expand in Egypt as a gateway to the Middle East, African and Arab markets.
He added that the Arab Organization for Industrialization enjoys the flexibility provided by its international regulations and enables it to achieve international partnerships in all areas of manufacturing.

, confirmed that the Egyptian market is attractive to Norwegian investments and constitutes a strategic importance for the African and Arab region, pointing out the importance of inviting major companies and investors in Norway to inspect the factories and companies of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, the industrial backbone of the Egyptian state, to discuss benefiting from the great investment capabilities in the organization, which contributes to increasing the volume of targeted trade exchange between the two countries during the coming period, which would contribute to establishing promising industrial partnerships and opening up investment horizons, exchanging expertise and integration between the two sides.
